Follow your instincts. That's where true wisdom manifests itself.

In the past few weeks, I have had to either follow my instincts or counter intuitively manage my instincts, which has caused me at times to doubt myself. In business, people ask me all the time, whether I think it is a good idea to buy or sell a home. I use the data that I can find to help them make an intelligent decision, but at the end of the day, I use my instincts to help a buyer or seller. Through 12 years of Real Estate experience, this helps me to follow my instincts.
But in matters of the heart, home, family and the other circles, it is much harder because, It is me that can be affected. Right now, I have to counter intuitively manage my life goal of trying to impact the lives of others, because I have to realize that at times I come first. Trusting your gut and instincts can be hard at times and I have heard it said that following your instincts should be done rapidly but changing that decision should be done slowly.
I am at a crossroads...Do I follow my gut or do I do I see where the road takes me?

I was thinking the other day, when driving down Southern Blvd, about when I got into the Business of Real Estate. My old office was at the corner of Southern and State Road 7 and it brought back alot of memories. At that time period, you could stick a sign in the ground and get offers in a couple of days. That was back in 2001, and through 2006, it was that way. But in 2006 thru now, I learned what a short sale was, a bank owned property, and everything that came with the market downturn. I saw my business, go through an adjust just like the rest of industry. But during that time period, after 2006, alot of people asked me how I could go on in the environment, where the Real Estate market was in a free fall. I said, my number one purpose is to impact the lives of others.  It was that way in 2001 and still is today.

I heard it said that "Real Estate is something that you don't try out, Real Estate tries you out."- Joe Niego.

In the good times, and the not so good times, my resolve is to impact people's lives for the better. There is no Plan B for me. I have plans and goals for the future that include helping people with their Real Estate needs. In the good times, and the not so good time, people need a trusted advisor when it comes to Real Estate. So, I am here for the long haul. It is good at times, to look back to see how far you have come, but my sights are set on the future and I am never giving up on my dreams or yours...

So if you run across someone who wants to buy or sell a home, feel free to call or email me and I will be happy to help them with their Real Estate needs...

Climb The Mountain

I tried to climb the mountain today. As I inched my way up the path, I felt out of breath and had to turn back.

I tried to climb the mountain today. But, It was so hot outside, I thought I had better stay in my nice air-conditioned house and rest up for tomorrow's attempt.

I tried to climb the mountain today. On my journey, darkness started to fall and I was full of fear, so I had to return to a safe place.

I was ready to climb the mountain today. But I had so may other things to do, so instead of climbing the mountain I took care of the much more important tasks; I washed my car, mowed the grass and watched the big game. Today the mountain will have to wait.

I was going to climb the mountain today. But as I stared at the mountain in all it's majestic beauty, I knew I had no chance of making it to the top, so I figured why even begin trying.

I had forgotten about climbing the mountain today, until an old friend came by and asked what I was up to lately. I told him about all my plans to climb that mountain someday. I went on and on about how I was going to accomplish the task.

He stopped me and said, "I just got back from climbing that mountain. for the longest time I told myself I was going to try to climb it but never made any progress."

"I almost let the dream of making it to the top die. I came up with every excuse of why I could not make it up the mountain, but never once did I give myself a reason why I could. One day as I stared at the mountain and pondered, I realized that if I didn't make an attempt at this dream all my dreams would eventually die."

" The next morning, I started my climb. It was not easy, and at times I wanted to quit. But no matter what I faced, I placed one foot in front of the other, keeping a steady pace. When the wind tried to blow me over the edge, I kept walking. When the voices inside my head screamed, stop! I focused on my goal, never letting it out of sight. I kept moving forward. I could not quit because I knew I had come too far to stop now. Time and time again, I reassured myself that I was going to finish this journey. I struggled mightily to make it to the top, but I CLIMBED THE MOUNTAIN." "I have to be going," my friend said. "Tomorrow is a new day to accomplish more dreams. By the way what are you going to do tomorrow?"
I looked at him, with intensity and confidence in my eyes, and said, "I HAVE A MOUNTAIN TO CLIMB."

Show me someones actions and I will show you their priorities...

I have heard it said that if you want to see someone's priorities, show me their day-timer and checking account. I heard this from Dr. Alex Lackey from a Brian Buffini CD..he says that most conflict with priorities, is actual priorities vs. desired priorities...

At times, I have seen people who say that they want success in any circle in life, but their actions say another story. Have you sat down and really thought what is important to you? Which priority is the most important, Family, Spiritual, Business, Personal and Finance? Have you ranked them, and then have you looked on how you spend your time in a day? I know my priorities...and I am working hard towards my priorities and goals...are you? I think this quote below says it best when it comes to priorities..

“Action expresses priorities.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

I invite you to sit and rank what priority is the most important...rank them..then sit down and set a goal for each priority and set an action plan to achieve each goal. I will admit, it is hard and takes some time to think what matters most to you. I have had conflict with myself and others because of my priorities, but my path is set and my actions will lead me to success on the path in life.

Real friends stab you in the front......

True friends stab you in the front.
Oscar Wilde

One thing lately that has been bothering me is people who will take great pains to stab you in the back but don't have the same courage to say it right to your face. I welcome constructive criticism, because it helps me to grow as a person and as a business person. If someone thinks, that I need to work on something, then tell me. Don't go and tell everyone else and forget to tell me. Also, one other thing, if someone is stabbing someone in the back to you, what do you think they are doing when you turn your back. Give me one friend, who will not sugar coat things and tell me the truth. I value that. I welcome that. That is how I grow.

I have seen over the past couple of months, People stab my friends in the back and then go and do it to me. I am tired of it and I do not have time for it. when you allow this in your life, you allow negativity to enter your life. Have true friends, that will stab you in the front, treasure them like fine gold...I love a person who knows you are slightly weird, but loves you just the same...

Looking to Buy or Sell a Home!

Why it is important to contact me if you are considering buying or selling a home.

"Before becoming active in the market, the typical consumer thinks about the possibility of buying or selling a home for 6 to 12 months"...I read that today from the the Buffini Real Estate report that I received the other day.

If you have been thinking about buying or selling a home for a year, don't you think it would be a good idea to reach out to an experienced Realtor to help you?  As a 12 year veteran of the Palm Beach County Real Estate market I can help you get the best possible price for your home.  My job is to advise you on the best routes to go with any work that may need to be done, what the value of your home is and what the market is doing and where it headed.  My only goal is to help you to get your home in the best possible shape for a quick sale.

On the other hand, if you are thinking of buying a home, I have a wonderful mortgage person who can pull your credit, help you clean it up, make sure there no errors, and make sure you get the best interest rate. Also, I would be happy to send and show you homes for as long as it takes to find you the perfect place to call home.

I am a proactive Realtor that wants to make sure your real estate experience is the best possible one. I am there before, during and after each sale and want to become your Trusted Real Estate Adviser for life. When you work with me, you become part of my community and my family.

Why I Got Into Real Estate!

Impacting People's Lives through Real Estate.

Back in the summer of 2001, I decided to go to Real Estate School and get my Real Estate license. In 2001, after receiving my license, when I first went into business, I decided to Work by Referral…what does that mean for you?  Instead of focusing my time and energy in my business trying to find the next lead, I would focus on my community and the people I was working with. My calling card would be my service and devotion to excellence and my clients and community would refer people like themselves that were looking to be impacted.

Over the past 11 years, I have helped a lot of people through good times and the not so good times, I have helped people purchase their first homes, sell homes, help investors and answered a lot of questions. I want to thank you all for helping me to not only have a wonderful business but at the same time, while I was impacting your lives, you have impacted me in many different ways.

I know that the future of my business and me in general, grows through your help.  If you know anyone that might want to buy or sell their home, or a referral of a great business, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me.

One, last time…..I just want to thank you, For impacting me and allowing me to impact you.
